Küreselleşme ve bilişim teknolojileri ile artan ticaret eğilimleri sonucu lojistik faaliyetlerin ve lojistik sektörünün önemi de gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Çok sayıda işletmenin uluslararası pazarlarda rekabet etmesi kâr marjlarını daraltmış, ürün ve hizmetlerin hedef pazar ve tüketicilere doğru zaman, yer, miktar ve fiyatla ulaştırılması her zamankinden daha önemli bir hâl almıştır. Bu noktada işletmelere daha esnek, daha entegre ve katma değerli hizmetler sunacak lojistik köyler gündeme gelmiş, intermodal taşımacılık olanaklarıyla da desteklenen bu köyler kısa sürede tüm dünyada yaygınlaşmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Karaman Organize Sanayi Bölgesi (OSB)’de faaliyet gösteren üretim işletmelerinin lojistik köy algısı ve bu köyden beklentilerini, böyle bir köyün kurulması durumunda almayı düşünecekleri lojistik hizmetlerin tespitini ve intermodal taşımacılığa bakış açılarını ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla 39 üretim işletmesiyle yüz yüze görüşülerek anket uygulanmış, sonuç olarak işletmelerin bir yıllık lojistik maliyetlerine göre lojistik köyden ve intermodal taşımacılıktan beklentilerinin farklılaştığı, ayrıca yine faaliyette bulunulan pazar ve sektöre göre intermodal taşımacılıktan beklentilerin farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir. Son olarak ise işletmelerin lojistik köylere ve intermodal taşımacılığa bakış açıları olumlu iken, bu köylerden hizmet alma noktasında taşımacılık, sigortalama ve gümrük hizmetleri haricinde büyük oranda olumsuz oldukları saptanmıştır.

As a result of the increasing trade trends which based on globalization and information technologies, the importance of logistics activities and logistics sector has increased day by day. The competition among the businesses in international markets has narrowed the profit margins. Hence, the delivery of products and services at the right time, place, quantity and price has become more important than ever. At this point, logistics centers have come to the agenda, where more flexible more integrated and more value-added services will be provided for businesses and logistics centers also supported with intermodal transportation facilities have spread all over the world in a short time. The purpose of this study is to reveal the perception and expectations of manufacturing businesses operating in Karaman Organized Industrial Zone on those logistics centers, services that they intend to demand and perspective to intermodal transportation in case of establishment of such a center. For this purpose, a questionnaire has been conducted to 39 manufacturing enterprises face-to-face. As a result, the differentiation of expectations from the logistics center and intermodal transport was determined according to the annual logistics costs of enterprises. Furthermore, the expectations from the intermodal transport have been varied depending on the current market and industry. In addition, while the viewpoints of businesses on the logistics centers and intermodal transportation are positive; except the transportation, insurance and customs services, it was found to be largely negative in terms of getting services from these centers.
