Klasik Türk şiirinde sâkî, kimi zaman meclisin düzenleyicisi, kimi zaman ilgi çeken sevgilisidir, bazen de otoritedir. Tasavvufî
anlamda ise sâkî, mürşit görevini icra eder. Meclisler, ilkbaharın gelişiyle renklenen, sosyal etkinlik alanıdır. Mekansal olarak
bezm etkinlikleri gül bahçesi, su kenarları otağ ve sahrâlarda kurulur. Müziğiyle, şarabıyla, sâkîsiyle, sarhoşuyla… gerçek ya
da mecazî anlamda canlı olduğu kadar, kendine özgü kuralları olan bir ortamdır. Şarabın kadehten kadehe dolaştığı içki
meclisinin öznesi sâkîdir. Yani, sâkî bu meclisin hizmetini yerine getiren bir gençtir.
Bu çalışmada, XVI. yüzyıl şairlerinden Bâkî’nin şiirlerinde geçen “sâkî” karakteri çeşitli yönleriyle incelenmiştir. Şairin
şiirlerinde geçen sâkî ile ilgili şiirler tespit edilmiş ve bu şiirlerden hareketle, meclis ve bu meclisin önemli unsurlarından biri
olan sâkî karakteri tanıtılmıştır. Bu bağlamda sâkînin güzellik unsurları, görevleri, sâkînin benzetildiği ve sâkîye benzetilen
unsurlar hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.

In Classical Turkish Poetry saki is sometimes an organizer of the council and sometimes a beloved who draws attention and
sometimes an authority, too. Also in sufistic perspective; saki serves as Mursit. The convocation is a social activity area that
is colored with the start of spring days. The activities for meetings of friends were held in rose gardens, by waterfronts, in
tents and deserts. Moreover, convocation with its music, wine, saki, lover and drunken is not only lively in real terms or
metaphorically but also an atmosphere with its own customs. The agent of the drink-convocation where drink is travelled
through glasses is saki. In other words, saki is the young boy of this convocation.
In this study, “saki” character in the 16th-century-poet Baki’s poems was examined in various perspectives. The poets where
saki was mentioned were chosen among the poet’s poems and based on these poems, the convocation and the saki
character, one of the most important factors of this convocation, were introduced. In this sense, information about beauty
factors of saki, saki’s functions, factors saki was resembled and factors resembled to saki was given.
