Bir toplumu meydana getiren bireylerin, belli koşullarda bir araya gelmesini ya da ayrışmasını sağlayan çeşitli sosyolojik
unsurlar mevcuttur. Ekonomik şartlar, insanların kendi sosyal çevrelerini oluşturmalarındaki önemli faktörlerden biri olarak
kabul edilmektedir. Bazı insanların ya da grupların çeşitli sebeplerle toplumun diğer kesimlerince ötekileştirilmesi sosyal
dışlanma kavramını meydana getirmiş, 20. yüzyılın son çeyreğinde ise yoksulluk sosyal dışlanma kavramının merkezine
yerleşmiştir. Sosyal dışlanmanın yoksullukla ilişkisi sosyolojinin konusu olmakla birlikte, şiirleriyle alt sınıf insanların sözcüsü
olma rolünü üstlenen pek çok halk şairi ve âşık da şiirlerinde bu toplumsal soruna değinmiştir. Bu şairlerden biri de Âşık Eşref
olup Eşref’in şiirlerinde sosyal dışlanma- yoksulluk ilişkisi çok geniş bir yer tutmaktadır. Hayatı yoksullukla geçen Âşık Eşref,
gerek kendi yaşamına gerekse toplumsal gözlemlerine dayanarak yoksulluk ve sosyal dışlanma ilişkisini şiirlerinde ele
almıştır. Âşık Eşref birçok şiirinde, sanatçı kişiliğini oluşturan etmenlerin merkezinde kabul ettiği yoksulluktan ötürü
insanların kendisini hor görüp dışlamasından yakınmıştır. Daktilo ile yazılmış on sekiz cilt defter içerisinde yirmi bine yakın
şiiri ve MESAM’da kayıtlı yüz elli kadar türküsü mevcut olan Âşık Eşref halen Almus’ta yaşamakta ve üretmeye devam
etmektedir. Kaynak tarama, araştırma- inceleme ve görüşme yöntem ve tekniklerinin kullanıldığı bu çalışmayla; hem Âşık
Eşref’in bilim çevrelerine tanıtılması hem de şiirlerindeki sosyal dışlanma- yoksulluk ilişkisinin ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır.

The individuals that constitute a society, in certain circumstances, there are various sociological elements that allow the
combination or separation. Economic conditions are considered to be one of the important factors for people to create their
own social environment. The alienation of some people or groups in some segments of society for various reasons has
brought about the concept of social exclusion. In the last quarter of the 20th century, poverty was central to the concept of
social exclusion. Many folk poets and minstrals who have taken on the role of lower class people as a spokesperson with
their poetry, as well as social exclusion-poverty-related sociology, have also addressed this social problem in their poetry.
One of these poets is Minstral Eşref and social exclusion - poverty relationship has large place in Eşref's poetry. The Minstral
Eşref, who is living in poverty, has dealt with the relationship between poverty and social exclusion in his poetry, based on
his own life and social observations. The Minstral Eşref complained in his many poems that humans were humiliated and
excluded himself because of the poverty that he accepted at the center of the factors that make up his artist personality. The
Minstral Eşref, who has more than twenty thousands poetry and about one hundred and fifty folk songs, still lives and
continues to produce in Almus. With this study which used source scanning, research-examination and interview methods
and techniques; it is aimed both to introduce the Minstral Eşref to the scientific circles and to reveal the social exclusionpoverty
relationship in his poems.
