Adalet, her devirde, her dinde ve her felsefede en çok sözü edilen konu olmuştur. İslam dininde ve felsefesinde de böyledir.
Adalet ve aynı anlamı ifade eden kelimeler ile onun karşıtı olan cevir ve zulüm kavramlarına Kur’an-ı Kerim’de, hadislerde ve
dolayısıyla tefsirlerde ve diğer dinî eserlerde çok yer verilmiştir. Adalet çok geniş anlam taşıyan bir kavramdır; tasavvufla,
hukukla, felsefeyle, sosyoloji, psikoloji gibi bilim dallarıyla ilgili anlamlar kazanmıştır. Özellikle ahlak ile ilgili bir terimdir;
ahlaki bir erdemdir. Hatta denilebilir ki, İslam kültüründe ahlak adalettir, adalet ahlaktır.

Justice has been the most mentioned topic in every age, religion and philosophy. This is also the case in islamic religion and
philosophy. The concepts of justice and the same meaning, and the concepts of translation and persecution, which are the
opposite of it, are included in the Qur’an, hadiths and conse quently in commen taries and other religious Works. Justice is a
very meaningful concept; it has gained meanings with mysticism, law, philosophy, branches of science such as sociology and
psychology. İt is a term especially related to morality; it is a moral virtue. İtcan even be said that in İslamic culture, morality
is justice, justice is morality.
