Yayın değerlendirmesini yaptığımız çalışma, 16. yüzyıl mesnevi
edebiyatının önemli isimlerinden Lâmi‘î Çelebi’nin Şem ü Pervâne
Mesnevisi’nin tam metni ve detaylı analizini içermektedir. Çalışmanın
girişi, Fars ve Türk edebiyatında Şem ü Pervâne mesnevilerinin gelişim
evrelerini mukayeseli gösteren bir kaynak niteliğindedir. Çalışmada
birinci bölüm Lâmî’nin hayatına ayrılmıştır. Bu bölüm, Lâmî’nin Şem ü
Pervânesi hakkında olay örgüsünden motiflere kadar geniş bilgi verilen
ve eserin vaka halkaları ile içeriği hakkında ayrıntılı açıklamalar yapılan
kısımdır. Sonrasında sonuç ve kaynakça verilmiş, Lâmî’nin Şem ü
Pervâne mesnevisinin üç nüshası göz önünde bulundurularak
oluşturulan metni dipnot ve açıklamaları ile sunulmuştur. Eser sadece
Lâmî’nin değil klasik Türk ve Fars edebiyatlarındaki Şem ü Pervâne
mesnevilerinin de değerlendirilmesi hükmündedir. Eser ayrıca, bu tarz
mesnevilerdeki aşkın temel felsefesine ve kaynaklarına vurgu yaptığı
için de önem arz etmektedir.

The study, in which we evaluated its publication value, includes the full text and detailed analysis of
the Şem ü Pervâne Masnavi of Lâmi‘î Çelebi, one of the important names of the Masnavi literature of
16th century. The introduction of the study is a source that shows the development stages of Şem ü
Pervâne Masnavis in Persian and Turkish literature comparatively. The first chapter of the study is
devoted to Lâmî's life. This section is the part where extensive information is given about Lâmî's Şem
ü Pervâne from the plotline to the motifs and detailed explanations are given about the case rings and
content of the work. Afterward, the conclusion and bibliography are given, and the text of Lâmî's Şem
ü Pervâne Masnavi, which was creating by considering three copies, is presented with footnotes and
explanations. The work is not only considered belonging to Lâmî but also is regarded as an evaluation
of Şem ü Pervâne Masnavis in classical Turkish and Persian literature. The work is also important
because it emphasizes the basic philosophy and sources of love in this type of Masnavis.
