Dear readers,
We created the journal named “International Journal of Assessment Tools in Education (IJATE)” and published the first volume and number. Journal will be published twice a year for now and it can be accessed via the internet.
Why we need this kind of journal? First of all, it has been seen that there is an increase in assessment and evaluation tools in education especially in survey studies. It is also seen that there is a need for a journal that can be a common point for related researchers who can access the resources easily and fast. In addition, it is thought that having both Turkish and English content, journal can meet the needs in domestic and foreign scope. Although there are some journals related to these topics under different names in abroad, those ones do not meet the needs adequately. Therefore, “International Journal of Assessment Tools in Education” was created by our group. This journal has an editorial board of who have an experience in the field of measurement and evaluation and ready to work devotedly during the publication of each issue. Other than that, people who are known in their fields will be asked to help as reviewers in evaluating the articles submitted to the journal. Hopefully, this journal will be better in a short time with contribution of yours.
