The purpose of this research is to reveal the opinions of primary school teachers related to the
philosophy of education in the province center of Uşak. The sample of the study is 290 primary school teachers
selected from seven different primary schools in the province center of Uşak. A likert-type scale was employed
to measure the opinions of primary school teachers regarding the educational philosophy with 40 items and 0.84
Cronbach reliability coefficients. One-way ANOVA tests have been run to test the research hypotheses. In the
end, primary school teachers strongly supported main educational philosophy approaches and also there were
some significant differences found in some independent variables.
