Nous nous proposons de présenter un article où nous interrogeons une problématique très générale et
d’actualité, le genre littéraire, pour savoir s’il est encore pertinent et toujours productif de peser et de
soupeser le genre en littérature ou s’il faudrait remettre en cause cette préoccupation et partant cette
question. Notre intervention prendra en charge la question de la Résistance ou de l’éclatement des
genres en littérature et consistera en une sorte de critique appliquée d’un roman algérien de langue
française, Les Amants de Padovani de Youcef Dris en l’occurrence. La problématique générale autour
de laquelle sera développée cet article est ce que nous avons appelé ‘‘l’intention littéraire’’ manifestée
par Youcef Dris. Elle constituera le cadre de cette critique appliquée de la stratégie discursive de
l’auteur, stratégie caractérisée par des interférences génériques symptomatiques de la ‘‘résistance des
genres et de leur éclatement.

We propose to present an article where we question the general problematic of the the general
litterature whether it is still paramount and always beneficial to weigh the value of the literary genre or
to restart this preoccupation with another go to the question. Our intervention will take into
consideration the question of the Resistance or the bursting out of the genres In literature and consists
of a kind of applied critics of an Algerian novel written in French, the Lovers of Padovani of Youcef
Dris. The general problematic through which this communication develops will focus on what we have
named « the literary intention » as manifested by Youcef Dris.It will constitute the framework of the
applied critics of the the author‘s discursive strategy ; a strategy characterized by symptomatic generic
interferences of « the resistance of the genres and their bursting out. »
