Bu çalışmanın temel amacı öğretmenler tarafından algılanan örgütsel destek
düzeyi ile yaşam memnuniyeti arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini
2013-2014 eğitim öğretim yılında Bartın il merkezindeki devlete bağlı ilkokul, ortaokul
ve liselerde görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise
basit seçkisiz örnekleme yoluyla belirlenen 290 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin
toplanması için Algılanan Örgütsel Destek Ölçeği ve Yaşam Memnuniyet Ölçeği
kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS
paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde frekans, yüzde, aritmetik
ortalama, t-test varyans analizi, korelasyon ve regresyon analizinden yararlanılmıştır.
Analizler sonucunda cinsiyet değişkenin örgütsel destek algısı üzerinde anlamlı bir
etkiye sahip olduğuna dair kanıt bulunamamıştır. Ancak kadın öğretmenler yaşam
memnuniyeti açısından erkek öğretmenlere göre daha olumlu bir algıya sahiptir.
Yaşam Memnuniyeti ile Algılanan Örgütsel Destek arasında pozitif yönlü zayıf
doğrusal bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda
öğretmenlerin örgütsel destek düzeyleri ile yaşam memnuniyet algıları orta düzeyde
çıkmıştır.

The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between life
satisfaction and perceived organizaitonal support levels of teachers. The universe of
the research was composed of the teachers working at state primary, secondary and
high schools in Bartın city center during the 2013-2014 academic year. The sample of
the study was identified by simple random sampling which consisted of the 290
teachers. Perceived Organizational Support Scale and Life Satisfaction Scale Scale
were used to collect the data. In this quantitavie research survey method was
employed. The obtained data was analyzed by SPSS program. During the analysis
process frequency, percentage, mean, t-test, analysis of variance, correlation and
regression analysis were used. According to findings, there is no evidence that gender
variable has a significant effect on the perception of organizational support. However,
female teachers have a more positive perception than male teachers in terms of life
satisfaction. It can said that there is a weak positive linear relationship between
Perceived Organizational Support and Life Satisfaction. The findings show that
teachers' perceptions of organizational support and life satisfaction levels are
moderate.
